Peaches n’ Cream Ginger Float
Ah, September. Does anyone else have a hard time letting go of summer? I know I sure do! My friends and family start talking about fall and I’m like “Shhhh! No no no I want to keep wearing shorts and running around with bare feet!” I’m not ready for pumpkin spice everything until the I can feel the crisp snap in the air. The month of September for me is the last “Hurrah” of summer. So why not enjoy it with a cool refreshing treat!
So, I love a good root beer float, but why not try another flavor combo!? It is a breeze to make and very satisfyingly! It’s great if you are feeling the need for a sweet pick me up or as an after school treat for the kiddos.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- 1 Ripe Peach (if you don’t have fresh, you could use frozen)
- Ginger Ale (our personal favorite is Reed’s Ginger Ale, but any brand will do)
- Vanilla Ice-cream
- Start by peeling and chopping your peach into chunks. Then place the chunks into a blender and blend until very smooth.
- Then distribute the peach puree evenly into two glasses.
- Add a scoop of ice-cream to each glass and pour over the ginger ale. Add a straw and enjoy!
